Some freelance love and joy in your Inbox

Wassup freelancers?
I’m declaring February be kind to freelancers month. So I have some things for you. I hope they tickle you in places that feel yummy.

The Freelance Jungle is back.
Sydney, put on your dancing shoes because we’re about to rock the socks of Friday the 13th (March) by checking out a spooky gig at the Agincourt Hotel. Yes, it’s a slight departure from the standard Freelance Jungle – isn’t that what makes it exciting?
Wollongong, we had fun at our last Thirroul adventure, and now I am putting the call out to you to pick the next one. Tell me where we should meet. I’m all up for discovering a new place in this pretty little city of ours! See you there April 9th.
Brisbane, you’re also getting another swing through the Jungle- stay tuned to the official meetup site for details.

Self-care for the self employed
Self-care for the self employed was something Brook and I dreamt up to address the stress, overwhelm and productivity issues associated with freelance life. It works on the premise that if you reduce stress and take good care of yourself, you can increase your output and job satisfaction.
After a highly successful event in Sydney, we’re bringing the magic to Wollongong and Melbourne. Melbourne looks like April, Wollongong in June.
If you want to find details as they come to hand, please register here.

100 days of Freelance
I promised you this course by Feb 1st. It was a little delayed due a cancer diagnosis in my family. Honestly, stuff goes a little out the window when you have both parents now battling cancer. Aaaaanyway, the important news for you is you can now pay $99 for 100 days of freelance advice, love and care from your living room.
It’ll teach you how to say no to shitty clients, turn your business towards better profitability, and give you a whole lot more along the way. It’s taken me 4 months to build, so it’s bloody worth it!
Register before Feb 28th to get the $99 special (it’s $149 after that).

Hugs and stuff
To say thank you for opening this email and sharing some love, I have 2 x 1 hour pain point clinics to give away to two of you fabulous freelancers.
Tell me in 30 words or less why you need some help via rebekah@unashamedlycreative.com.au and you could be picking my brain on Skype!
Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Also, nothing suss. I’m just on a giving kick at the moment. Get in there.

Pretty cool things:
Brook McCarthy is starting an awesome course called “Hustle and Heart†– you should check it out.
You have only days left to register for Kate Toon's DIY SEO course, “The recipe for SEO Successâ€. She’s the leading SEO freelancer in Australia, so it’s a wise investment.
You can join in the fun of the Freelance Jungle online (I post jobs, articles and questions- you should pop by and talk to me. Sometimes it gets a little lonely *sob* )
No, these aren't paid ads. They are freelance mates doing cool things. If you have a cool thing you want promoted, LMK.
